Number 10
Number 10 is a traditional house on a working croft (sheep, chickens and highland cattle). Wonderful hills and coastal scenery mingled with excellent walking, bird watching and fishing and close to historic sites and beaches.
The house has one sitting room, 2 double and 1 twin bedroom and sleeps 6.
It was built in the 1930s for a family of 10 who must have thought it luxurious indeed in contrast to their black house. They would be astonished to see it now. It is double glazed and oil fired central heating warms the whole house. There is also a peat burning stove with a supply of peat for romantics.
The house is available throughout the year and is priced at £250 - £400 per week dependent on the time of year.
Bed linen, towels, crockery and kitchen utensils are all supplied and well behaved dogs are welcome.
For sailors we have moorings available in the village.
It has a 3 star award from the Scottish Tourist Board.
